HOW IT STARTED

A one-man operation that didn't stay that way

Dean Landers started fixing appliances part-time in 1982 and went full-time on September 1, 1983. Back then, appliance repair in Baltimore was a handshake business — you earned the next job by doing the last one right, and word traveled one neighbor at a time.
That's still how it works for us. Four decades later we're a full team running branded trucks across the Baltimore area, but the standard Dean set on day one hasn't moved: show up when you say you will, charge what's fair, and fix it right the first time.
Same company, carried forward

New ownership, same standard

Dean built Landers Appliance. Andrew Brenton owns and leads it today — but it's the same company, the same trucks, and in many cases the same technicians who've been here for decades.
Locally owned and operated since 1983, and run now by someone who learned the business from the people who started it. The name on the door means the same thing it always has.

Who you're actually trusting

Most of our team has been here a long time. Average tenure runs over 10 years, and some have been with Landers more than 30. A lot of them started young and grew into the trade here, trained in both the repair work and the way we treat customers.
